Timberline was contracted by Lefthand Brewing Company to do both the Steam and Chiller water design and install. The photo is the finished install of the Steam system install. The photo is the finished install of the Bryan high-pressure steam boiler, horizontal feed station, and blowdown separator. This system also has a flash steam recovery station that was custom-designed by the Timberline team to eliminate flash steam waste. The addition of the flash steam recovery system preheated the hot liquor tank water while reducing the water loss to flash steam by approximately 8%. This saved the customer energy, water, and chemicals. The steam boiler system provides steam to the brew kettle and hot liquor tank. It also provides clean steam for keg sanitization.
