The University of Colorado contracted with our Service Team to replace a 90-degree gear reducer that had failed on a Marley fiberglass direct cooling tower. The Service Team engineered a cleaver safe lifting system to replace the failed gear reducer. Once installed, the shaft and coupling were aligned with a laser aligning instrument to ensure the new gear reducer and system operated smoothly.
